Annie Morrow

Annie Morrow Gastonia - Annie Rowell Morrow 79, of Gastonia passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at Peak Resources in Gastonia after several months of a serious illness. She was born May 24, 1934, in Lancaster, SC to the late Robert Rowell and Lois Rowell. Mrs. Morrow was a graduate of Winthrop University and retired from Stanley Middle School as a school librarian and media specialist after 50 years in education. She was beloved by all her students and staff. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Morrow; daughter Tracey Wilson and husband, Joel Wilson, grandchildren Dale Wilson and Kelly Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Peak Resources for their excellent care and kindness. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052 officiated by Rev. Leon Humphrey.
