Anna Mae Chambers

Anna Mae Chambers, 72, of Lincolnton, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2017 at the Brian Center.

She was born, June 2, 1945 in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Strawder Messer and Anna Pearl Martin Messer.

Anna was a member of Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Lincolnton.

She was a loving and caring woman that will be missed by many.

Anna is survived by her son, Freddie Chambers and wife, Brandi; step-sons, Robert Haas and Betty, Mike Haas and wife, Libby; step-daughter, Vivian Haas Farmer and husband, Randall; brothers, Robert Messer and wife, Barbara, Houston Messer and wife, Toni, Donnie Messer and wife, Laura; sisters Shirley Turner and Ruth Seagle; grandchildren, Jaykobe, Jaraymi, Amy, Joey and Shane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike and JD Messer.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Luke Johnson, will be held 11 am on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at Highland Drive Freewill Baptist Church, 2810 Highland Drive, Lincolnton.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
