Anita Dees Thomasson

Anita Dees Thomasson, 50, of York, passed away November 21, 2012 at her home. She was born November 26, 1961 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy McTaggert Dees. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service- South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. Mrs. Thomasson is survived by: her loving husband of over 22 years, Rocky Thomasson of the home; son, Richard Johnson of the home; daughter, Michelle Johnson of Clover; brother, Charles McTaggert and spouse Sandra; sister, Nancy Long and spouse Steve; grandchildren, Heather, Brianna, Courtney Stevens and Mackenzie Bolding; niece, Pam Bolding of Gastonia; 11 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: her sisters, Sharon Burgess, Sheila Nanney, Jeanie Scott; nephew, David Lee; mother in law, Grace Treadway; brother in law, Dale Thomasson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1230 Ebenezer Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
