Anita Rose Mitchem

Anita Rose Mitchem, 66, of Gastonia passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 9, 1956, in Gaston County, NC, to the late Jackie Gibson and Mary Heffner.

Anita loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Buddy Rose, and her second husband, Gregory Mitchem.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Rose and wife Misty; daughter, Niki Lutz and husband Bryan; nephew, Steven Moses; brother Lee Gibson; sisters, Jackie Stephens, Kay Gibson; grandchildren, Buddy Rose, Autumn Rose, Elizabeth Williams, Andrew Williams, Shelby Moses, Kaleb Lutz, Tristan Lutz, Declan Lutz.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematory, 1503 S. York Road Gastonia, NC
