Anita Caldwell

Anita Marie Caldwell, 82, of Gastonia, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at her residence.

A Gaston County native, she was born January 22, 1940, daughter of the late James and Emma Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Clark.

Anita was a member of Message of Love Church in Belmont.

She used to make dolls for the family; and she loved dancing, especially clogging.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 50 years, Dwain Caldwell; son, Kenneth Wayne Best Jr.; daughters, Donna Bartsch, Kim Parker (Robert), Stacy Ullman (John); sister, Shirley Wray; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
