Angie Hinkle

Angie Hinkle, 70, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born July 16, 1952, in Harrisonburg Co, VA, daughter of the late Harry James Robertson, Sr. and Dorothy Link Robertson.

Angie loved working with children, gardening, and her dogs. She also owned and operated "Angie's Child Care of Bessemer City".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Hinkle; daughter, Becky Sue Lively; sisters, Sue Parrish, and Becky Robertson; and brother, Wilson Robertson.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Dulcey Lee (Paul); son, David Hinkle; grandchildren, Pegan Lively, Hayley Wood (Tyler), Heather Clendenin, Bryson Carpenter, David Hinkle, Jr., Deandrea Hinkle, and Dulcey Hinkle; great-grandchildren, Abigail Wood, Gabriel Wood, and Jaxson and Jaycee Wood; siblings, Wanda Robertson, Harry "Buster' Robertson, Jr., Tina Hall, Belva Link, Randy Hall, and Jamie Robertson.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Souls Harbor Tabernacle – 603 S Loraine St., Dallas, NC 28034.
