Angela Barneycastle Watkins

Angela Barneycastle Watkins, 50, of Bessemer City passed away January 15, 2013 at her daughter's home. She was born April 11, 1962 in Gaston County daughter of the late Gehrig Franklin Barneycastle and Blanche Thompson Barneycastle. Angela was a loving mother and grandmother who was very intelligent and beautiful. She was thoughtful and always put others before herself. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and her two dogs, Johann and Rizo. Mrs. Watkins was a christian. A graveside service will be held 1:30 pm on Saturday at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia officiated by Pastor Tom Raven. The family will receive friends 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia. Mrs. Watkins is survived by: her daughter, Holli Watkins; Fiance, Kyle Price; brothers, Greg Barneycastle and wife Barbara, Frank Barneycastle and wife Kim; Al Barneycastle; granddaughter, Meagan Barneycastle; niece, Katie Fry ; nephews, Patrick, Daniel, Jamie, Joseph and Eric Barneycastle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: brother, Gill Barneycastle.
