Angela "Angel" Stone Lovelace

Angela "Angel" Stone Lovelace, 64, of Kings Mountain, passed away peacefully at her home on September 21, 2025. She was born July 26, 1961, in Gastonia. A beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Angela was known for her sweet, friendly spirit and her fun-loving personality. She had a gift for making new friends wherever she went, bringing joy and warmth to all who knew her.

A lover of music, Angela had a special place in her heart for her favorite band, Blackberry Smoke. She found joy in traveling to new places and had a deep love for the beach, often sharing these experiences with her family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Angela's vibrant life, where friends and family can come together to honor her remarkable life and the love she shared with all of us. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel, located at 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, NC. Following the visitation, a memorial service will begin at 5:00 pm with her husband Farrell speaking,

Memories of Angela will be cherished by her loving husband of 42 years, Farrell Lovelace and their children: Allen Lovelace (Fernanda) of Kings Mountain, Reggie Lovelace (Jennifer) of Grover, Ashley Lovelace of the home, and Marina McLean (Jamie) of Charlotte; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Angela was preceded in death by: her father, Larry Stone (Linda) and her mother Elaine Yarbrough (Willard).
