Angela Kay Smarr

Angela Kay Smarr, 44, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Atrium Health – Union.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 28, 1979, to the late William Williams and Tina Sapp.

Angela was a member of West Franklin Spirit of Life Church in Gastonia.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jashanti Lattermore; Dad, Michael Eaton.

Angela is survived by her husband, Rodney Smarr; son, Andrew Williams; daughter, Alyssa Smarr; brothers, Jimmy Meade, Christopher Eaton; sister, Melisa Eaton; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Johnny Smarr; brothers-in-law, Johnny Smarr Jr. and Michael Smarr; sister-in-law, Patty Smarr; fur baby, Miley; many aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Larry Lingerfelt and Pastor Jeff Williams, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024, 2:00 PM, at West Franklin Spirit of Life Church, 450 S. Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
