Angela Black Grigg, 46, of Gastonia, passed away May 7, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1969 a native of Gaston County, daughter of Charles and Alice Black. Angela was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Gastonia. She loved her family, friends and co-workers at New Hope Medical Clinic. The family wishes to say a special thank you for all the love and support from all her friends and family during her sickness. Left to cherish her memories along with her parents are her husband, Barry Lee Grigg; sons, Wesley and Michael Grigg; daughter, Amanda Black and husband, Dustin Summerfield; brother, Mike Black; sister, Anita Black and husband, James Hendrix; nieces and nephews, Miranda and Noah Black; grandchildren, Hunter Grigg, Tae Williams, Jayden Hicks, Aaron Williams, Allison and Maddison Gozalkowski, Jordan and Brayden Curry; close friends and relatives, Tommy and Billie Jean, Todd and Sandy, Sarah and Todd, Rhonda and Steve, Debbie and Quinton, Crystal and Brad, Jerri and Tony and Barbara. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Revs. Terry Gibson and Tommy Owenby. The family will receive friends 6 - 9 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
