Angela "Angel" Briggs

Angela "Angel" Briggs, 58, of Dallas, NC, passed away, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

She was born March 23, 1962 in Logan Co, West Virginia, daughter of Paul Baldwin and the late Linda Dillon Baldwin.

Angel loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved the beach and country music.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Joseph Brown; brother, Moe Baldwin; maternal grandparents, Fred and Jewell Dillon; paternal grandparents, Ollie and Velvie Baldwin; and maternal great-grandfather, Charles Harris.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Ralph "Chip" Briggs; sons, Casey Briggs, Patrick Briggs and girlfriend, Samantha Power and James Briggs; daughters, Carrie Louder and husband, Daniel and Sarah Galpert and husband, Matthew; sisters, Beverly Lusk and husband, Smiley and Penny Brown and husband, Mike; brothers, Jeremy Baldwin and wife, Becky, Bobby Baldwin and Carl Baldwin; grandchildren, Sophia Louder, Landon and Khendyl Briggs, Bailey, Kennedy, Cameron, Sawyer and Rhett Galpert; special aunt, Delane Carter Briggs; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Angel will lie in state 10am-1pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Funeral service officiated by Pastors Leon Hawks and Buck Harper, will follow at 3pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.
