With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angel Karllette Parker, of Kings Mountain, who left this world peacefully on January 6, 2026, at the age of 51. She was born on May 28, 1974, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, she was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt and a beloved friend to many.
Angel graduated from North Shelby School in 1996, where her passion for music first began to blossom. As a talented singer in the Christian music, her love for song and worship resonated deeply within her soul and touched the lives of those around her. She attended Flint Hill Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, where she found joy and community.
Angel was the light of her mother's eye and was profoundly loved by her entire family, who will forever hold her memory close, honoring the warmth and joy she brought into their lives.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 3:00 -5:00 pm at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia. A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Second Baptist Church of Kings Mountain, 120 Linwood Road Kings Mountain, with Pastor Shane Kirby officiating, where we will gather to remember and honor the life of this remarkable woman. Following the service, Angel will be laid to rest in the Mausoleum at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
Angel is survived by her loving mother, Frances Joan Story and stepfather Robert Story; sisters, Debbie Hoyle, Sherry Tessener (Ricky), Lisa Bowen (Eddie); brothers, Jerry Parker (Karen) Jimmy Parker; nieces and nephew, Bambi Jones,(Matthew), Ricky Tessener Jr.(Apryl), Jeffery Randolph, Jason Randolph, Travis Bowen, Blake Bowen, Jerry Parker Jr.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Landon Black, Colin Black, Levi Jones, Tilly Jones, Bree Tessener, Jake Tessener, Jessica Randolph, Aaron Randolph, Jade Randolph.
Angel was preceded in death by her father, Karll Evans Parker; and niece, Crystal.
In this time of sorrow, we invite all who were touched by Angel's life to join together in love and remembrance, celebrating the profound impact she made during her time with us. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts as we carry her memory forward.
