Andrew Eugene Parker

Andrew Eugene Parker, 71, of Dallas passed away on November 9, 2012 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. He was born February 11, 1941 in Gaston County son of the late Andrew Parker and Eddie Mae Brown. Andrew was a native of Gaston County. He loved fishing, boating, camping and the outdoors. Mr. Parker was a US Army veteran who was a gunner, marksman and was in the 82nd Airborne. A graveside service for Mr. Parker will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday at Westview Gardens, with military honors and will be officiated by Rev Ricky Brown. Mr. Parker is survived by: his loving wife of 10 years, Linda Reynolds Parker; niece, Cathy Williamson and husband Darrell; nephew, Terry Estes and wife Beverly; one great niece; four great nephews; four great great nieces; one great great great niece; special cousins, Steve Bailey and wife Pat and Terry Bailey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: sister Claudette Estes. Memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice for The Robin Johnson House, P.O. Box 3984 Gastonia, NC 28054. Riverview Baptist Church, Lincolnton will be providing care and support for the family .
