Andrew Murray Cummings

Andrew Murray Cummings, 51, of Bessemer City, passed away January 2, 2025, at his residence.

Andrew was born April 26, 1973, in Wilmington, Delaware, son of the late Donald Robert Cummings and Patricia Woconish Cummings.

He was a pet lover who enjoyed dogs and was a US Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Reese Cummings; uncles, Les Streets, Ken Elmer; cousin, Kenny Elmer.

Left to cherish his memories are his stepmother, Anne-Marie Cummings; son, Clayton Fink; daughter, Maya Carpenter; Clayton's mother, April Fink; Maya's mother, Lori Carpenter; sister, Debbie Hunt and husband, Sherman; nephews, Christopher, Joshua (Kerry) and children Giuliana and Maddalena, and Robert Hunt (Delanie); aunt, Wendy Borsari and husband Matt and children Ethan, Devon (Vincent) and their daughter Avie; aunts, Janet Streets, Barbara Elmer.

A committal will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at the VA Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina.
