Amy Lynn Cloninger

Amy Lynn Cloninger, 71, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2025.

Lynn was born in Gaston Co, on December 13, 1953, to the late Leonard and Frances Hedgepeth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Christine Grant Hedgepeth.

Lynn worked in warehouse and manufacturing at various companies. She enjoyed fishing, the beach, cheering on the Tarheels and the late Dale Earnhardt, spending time with family and friends, and she loved Jesus.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Mark Cloninger; brother in law, Richard Cloninger (Loretta); nieces, Anna Cloninger Slentz (Nathan), and Amy Cloninger Seagle; great nephews, Baylor Slentz, and Bodhi Seagle; great niece, Ridley Slentz; bestfriend/sister, Kim Jewell; fur baby, Duke; as well as many friends.

Family will receive friends 11-12pm, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, followed by the service at 12:30pm, officiated by Rev. Dr. John Spencer, at St Paul Lutheran Church - 531 Hardin Rd., Dallas, NC 28034. Burial will take place immediately following the service at the church cemetery.
