Amy Darlene Childers, 56, of Kings Mountain, passed away February 10, 2023, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

She was born August 13, 1966, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Buck Lyles and Libby Bigham Lyles.

Amy was a member of South Gastonia Church of God.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday February 17, 2023, at South Gastonia Church of God 310 Carolina Avenue, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Adrian Franklin and Pastor Bobby Gilley.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.

Burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Amy is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Timmy Childers; sons, TJ Childers, Dustin Peterson; brother Randy Lyles (Cindy); god sister, Lisa Pope; four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her brother, Punkin Lyles.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
