Amy Broughton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy D. Broughton, who left us on January 10, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on October 4, 1969, in North Carolina, Amy was a cherished daughter, an adored friend, and a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the home health care industry. Amy loved her work and the connections she made with her patients, always bringing warmth and compassion to those she cared for. She loved going to the beach to fish. She enjoyed pool therapy when she had time on her days off.

Amy is survived by her beloved parents, Rev. Andy and Brenda Broughton, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.; brothers, Eric Broughton, Andy R. Broughton (Debby); nephew, Drew Broughton

A graveside service will be held to honor Amy's life and celebrate her spirit Thursday, January 15, 2026, 3:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather at the burial site located at 1200 S New Hope Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054, where she will be laid to rest.
