Amparo Londono - Salazar

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Amparo Londono-Salazar, a vibrant soul who left this world on September 1, 2024, at her home in NC. Born in Pereira, Colombia, on June 29, 1959, Amparo was a proud Hispanic woman known for her infectious smile and love for life.

Amparo adored spending time with her family, especially her son, Cesar Nieto and wife Monica; daughter, Tatiana Londono and boyfriend Victor Ramos; grandchildren, Valentina and David; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was immeasurable. She found joy in listening to the Colombian radio station (Olimpica), and her adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, collecting cherished memories along the way.

Amparo was preceded in death by her parents, Edelberto Londono and Dora Salazar.

In honor of Amparo's life, we invite friends and family to join us for a visitation at the Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Let us come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Amparo Londono-Salazar and cherish the memories we shared with her.
