Amanda Blake Musielak Roach, 34, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her residence.
She was born September 27, 1986, in Easley, SC.
Amanda was a member of Crowders Creek ARP Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was a teacher at Gaston Christian School. She loved to read and draw and was a huge animal lover. She was a great mother and loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Theodore and Betty Musielak; maternal grandparents, Avery and Lorraine DeBoard; and aunt, Karen Baker.
Amanda is survived by husband of 13 years, Philip Roach; son, Henry Roach; daughter, Lucy Roach; father and stepmother, David and Gail Musielak of Cleveland, SC; brother, David "Wade" Musielak of Cleveland, SC; stepbrother, Dennis Witmer (Jessica) of Huntsville, AL; special cousins, Kim Heaton of Seneca, SC, and Kathy Averett (Chad) of Walhalla, SC, who donated part of her liver to extend Amanda's life; aunt and uncle, Steven and Lonne Musielak of Salem, SC; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Douglas and Nancy Roach of Gastonia, NC; nephews, Bryce Musielak, Braden Witmer; and niece, Charlotte Witmer.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. Mark Tankersley, will be held at 5pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Crowders Creek ARP Church - 207 Crowders Creek Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Family is requesting that masks and social distancing be observed.
Burial will be held at the church cemetery.
