Alvin Lovelace

Alvin "Chris" Christopher Lovelace, 51, of Kings Mountain, passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
He was born March 7, 1967 in Cleveland County, son of the late Floyd Lovelace and Dollie Mae Campbell Lovelace.
Chris could do anything he put his mind to. He loved to shoot pool and to play horseshoe.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Lovelace.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Black and Ricky; brother, Floyd Eugene Lovelace and wife Laura; sister, Wanda Price and husband Gordon; grandchildren, Khloe, Destiny, Dawson and Nevaeh Black; niece and nephew, Halie and Jason Price.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Kenneth Faulkenbury, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 216 Archie-Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crossroads Rescue Mission - 206 Mount Sinai Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.
