Alvin Carroll Cornwell, 90, of Belmont, passed away October 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1928, the son of the late Alvin Hunter Cornwell and Connie Edith Leonhardt Cornwell.
Alvin was a Retired United States Army Paratrooper.
He is survived by his son, Major Cornwell; daughter, Kimberly Cornwell; and sisters, Muriel Nantz and Nelva Goodson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Nicky Cornwell.
All services are private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
