Allie Medlin Westbrook

Clover, SC - Allie Medlin Westbrook, 91, passed away January 19th, at her home in Clover, SC. Allie was born on April 24, 1922 in Raleigh, NC daughter of the late, Lester and Liza Medlin. Allie graduated from Mooresville High School in 1941. She was employed by Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company for thirty years and retired as an engineer. After retirement, she and her beloved husband "Boots" enjoyed traveling and camping for many years. Allie was under the care of Hospice Care of the Carolinas with her loving family by her side. Visitation, service and burial will all be private. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Miriam Mick and the graveside service by the Rev. Kenneth Staley. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Isom M. Westbrook, son, John A. Westbrook of Clover, daughter, Brenda W. Fair and great-grandson, Isom Lee Fair of Clover. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her only sibling, Effie Lee Staley. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to Hospice Care of the Carolinas at 1420 Ebenezer Road Ste. 103, Rock Hill, SC.
