Allen "Dee" Costner

Allen "Dee" Costner,69, of Bessemer City, passed away on June 17, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born December 14, 1947, in Lincoln County, son of the late Grier Wayne Costner and Elizabeth Fowler Costner.

A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Sparrow Springs Baptist Church 6147 Lewis Road Gastonia.

Mr. Costner is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Costner; son, Allen "Bubba" Costner Jr.; daughters, Tammy Begley, Charlene Costner, Laura Campbell, Allina Edwards, Samantha Costner; brothers, Grier "Gittle" Costner, Randy Costner, John Costner; sisters, Ewayne Blankenship, Eraine "Midge" Cooper, Elaine Wilson; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Michelle Costner; brother, Dale Wayne Costner.
