Alice Faye Smrz

Alice Faye Smrz, 75, of Gastonia, passed away August 7, 2020 at home.

She was born October 18, 1944 in Gaston County, NC to the late Glenn Weaver Sr., and Florence Bradley Weaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Lail and Louise; and three brothers, G.W. Weaver, Walt Weaver, and Ted Weaver.

Alice is survived by a daughter, Kim Kaluzny and husband Robert; son, Lyn Johnson and wife Katrena; grandchildren, Lyndell,III and wife Jennifer, Crystal Maza and husband Joe, Chelsea Johnson, Jessica and Jillian Kaluzny; great-grandchildren, Murphy Johnson, Atticus Johnson, James Smith, and Logan Maza; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Yvonne Bragg and Linda Elkins.

A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Larry Laws, will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC.
