Alice Wall Norville

Alice Wall Norville, 100, of Gastonia, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at The Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. She was born December 19, 1914, in Rutherford County, to the late Leonard Edgar Wall and Emma Sanders Wall. Mrs. Norville was a member of Carson Memorial Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Margaret Elizabeth Skidmore, Alice Joanna Hedden and husband Gerald Michael, Susan Diane Norville; brother, Hubert Wall and wife Joyce; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Monroe Norville; one son; three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, at Carson Memorial Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Chris Wilson. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia.
