Alice Britton Kirby

Alice Britton Kirby,69, of Locust, NC passed away December 10, 2014 at Catawba Regional Hospice House, Sherrill's Ford, NC. She was born January 19, 1945 in Gaston County, of the late Marshall Ernest and Alma Mayes Britton. A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday at Marietta Street Baptist Church 911 S. Marietta St. Gastonia, with the Rev. Tommy Self officiating. Alice is survived by her children, Dawn Mansel and husband David, Cindy Nicholson, Aaron Leffler; brothers and sisters, Reggie Britton, Nancy Smith, Louise Hope, Kelly Britton, Dennis Britton, Martha Mayhew, Robert Britton, Dotty Driver; grandchildren, Alicia and Nathias; great grandchild, Angel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred Kirby; brothers, David and Ricky Britton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Catawba Regional Hospice - Sherrill's Ford Hospice House, 7473 Sherrill's Ford Rd. Sherrill's Ford, NC 28673-7860.
