Alfred "Ac" Townsend

AC Townsend, 40, of Gastonia, NC died Monday October 10, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

AC was a tattoo enthusiast and talented artist that enjoyed drawing in his free time. He was a loving son, brother, and father that will truly be missed.

AC is survived by his parents, Bob and Vickie Townsend of Gastonia, birth mother, Phyllis Thomas of Gastonia, sons, Elijah Bell of Asheville and Ethan Townsend of Gastonia, sister, Nicole Brown of Gastonia, brothers Randy Groves and Shane Groves both of Gastonia, and 11 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6-8pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC.
