Alex Dean Weaver

Alex Dean Weaver, 63, a native of Gaston Co, NC, passed away, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born February 10, 1957, son of the late Dan Weaver and Barbara Mauney Weaver.

Alex was a supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project and Sons of Confederacy. He loved to ride his motorcycle and doing activities outdoors.

He is survived by wife, Dianne Weaver; step-sons, Terry Michael Towery Jr. and William Bedford Towery; step-daughter, Amanda Jean Brown; and sisters, Millie and Danny Camp, Myra Scott and Valerie and Tim Layel.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Tim Brackett, will be held 3 pm on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
