Alex Patterson Smith,56, of Gastonia, passed away on June 20, 2016, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas.
He was born November 10, 1959, in Davidson County, NC, son of the late Finley Patterson Smith and Virginia Medlin Smith.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Crowders Mountain Baptist Church, 125 Mayberry Lane Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends 5:00 -6:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.
