Alene Williams Kerr

Alene Williams Kerr, 78, of Kings Mountain, passed away December 17, 2023, at her home.

She was born February 19, 1945, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Julius E. Coleman and Rebecca Liner Coleman.

Alene was a teacher's assistant at Webb Street School for several years and prior to that she worked with handicapped children at Grier Middle School and Forestview High School.

A service will be held at a later date.

Alene is survived by her husband, Jeff Kerr; sister, Carol Bledsoe; grandchildren, Elizabeth Link, Stephanie McKinnon; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Alene was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony R. Williams; daughter, Terry Starkey; two brothers; and one sister.
