Albert Baker

Albert A. Baker, 68, of Lowell passed away March 5, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born November 28, 1945, native of Gaston County, son of the late Turner Welch and Ella Mae Baker. A memorial service will be held 3 pm on Thursday at Gospel Light Holiness Church of Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Jerry Willard. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Albert is survived by son, Scott Baker; daughter, Amy Love; sisters, Jean Dempsey, Carolyn Patterson, Joann Houser; grandchildren, Samantha Love, Mason Baker and also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
