Alaine Holland Tomberlin

Alaine Holland Tomberlin, 79, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1941, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Voyd Holland and Ibeair Ingle Holland.

Alaine was a member of Gastonia Church of Christ and retired from Galey and Lord. She loved her family time, holidays and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William E. Tomberlin; and sister, Daphine Crisp.

Alaine is survived by her children, Gordon (Melissa) Tomberlin, Billy (Frankie) Tomberlin, Cindy (Richard) Leviner and Melinda (Larry) DeRuyscher; siblings, Charles (Jane) Holland and Sue (Jerry) Green; grandkids, Chris, Leslie, Darrell, Michael, Victoria, Kyle, Stephanie, Savannah and Phillip; and great-grandkids, Maileyana, Chasity, Audrey, Jack, Landon, Benjamin, Mavrick, Noah, Bentley, Annslee and Leeland.

A gathering of family and friends with Preacher Trai Evans, will be held 6-8pm on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Gastonia Church of Christ - 1919 N New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054 .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Gastonia Church of Christ or Hospice and Palliative Care of Lincoln County – 900 Donita Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
