Aileen Moore King

Aileen Moore King, 88, of Lake Wylie, SC, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, at Wayne T Patrick Hospital in Rock Hill, SC.

She was born August 17, 1928, in Weldon, Ill., daughter of the late Lyle Moore and Blanche Walden Moore.

Aileen was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and of the Lady's Axillary at Post 9337 VFW.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri King; brother, Clifford Moore; and sisters, Lorene Cole, Allie Clark, and Lavern Siev King.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 66 years, Elwyn King; sons, Gary L. King, Terry L. King; grandchildren, Tiana, April, Emma, and Taylor King, Angie Hall, and Christina King; and great grandchildren, Alex Eppson and Nikolas Brooks.

A graveside service will be held 1pm Wednesday at Gaston Memorial Park.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Matthew Morris and Rev. Patricia Humphries-Bivens, will be held 2pm, at Christ United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
