Adele Oliver

Adele Oliver, 56, of Gastonia, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born June 12, 1959, in Gaston County, daughter of Aileen Huffstetler Carr and the late Wilburn Carr, Jr.

Adele was a member of Elevation Church.

Along with her mother, left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jeremy Sherer and wife, Kristina, Adam Sherer and wife, Katie, Jesse Oliver; brother, Jeff Carr; sisters, Shirleen Hanson, Lori Adler, Jada Winters, Amber Field; grandchildren, Claudia, Carson, Layla, and Alanna Sherer, Jake, Seth, Austin, and Noah Wise; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 6pm on Tuesday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 South York Rd, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends 4:30-6pm before the service at the funeral home.

Interment is private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
