Addyson Skye Holmes

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing our beloved Addyson Skye Holmes, who left this world too soon on July 26, 2025, at the tender age of three. She was born on February 4, 2022, in Gastonia, North Carolina to Taylor Willis and Jake Holmes. Addyson brought immense joy and light to her family and everyone who crossed her path.

Addyson was spirited little girl with a boundless love for life. She was often seen with her favorite blanket in tow, happily wandering around with it in her mouth. She had a special bond with her cousin, Kamron "Bubby" Wood, cherishing their time together with laughter and play. Whether she was zooming around with her toy cars and trucks or enjoying the great outdoors, always screaming at everyone to make her food and get her a drink. Addyson's playful spirit was infectious, filling the lives of her loved ones with warmth and happiness.

She is survived by her loving grandmother April Willis and her paternal grandparents Mike Holmes and Carla Hunt. She is survived by her loving aunts Katelynn Willis, Payton Willis, and Katie Bunch. She is survived by her great grandparents Diane and Roger Wood and Linda Willis. She also survived by many family and friends that loved her dearly.

Addyson was preceded in death by her parents Taylor Willis, Jake Holmes, grandfather Steven Willis, great grand paw David Willis, great uncle Scott Willis, 2nd cousin Christopher Willis, and her great cousin Kamron "Buddy" Wood.

Though our hearts are heavy, we will hold on to the beautiful memories we shared with sweet Addyson Skye. You will be forever loved and missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the Levine Childrens Hospital.

Visitation will be held 6:00pm-10:00pm, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at First Assembly of God, Gastonia. Celebration of life service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, at the church.
