Addie Elizabeth Greene

Addie Elizabeth Farmer Greene, 84, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her residence.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Ervin Greene, Sr.; 4 sisters; 5 brothers; son, Mitchell Ervin Greene, Jr.; and grandchild, Amber Greene.

Addie is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Mosley (Jeffery Scott Mosley, Sr.); son, Ray Ervin Greene (Gloria Greene); sisters, Elise Young, and Doris Farmer; grandchildren, Gena Sherrill (Daniel Ray Sherrill, III), Jeffery Mosley, Jr. (Amber Mosley), Heather Mosley, Destiny Greene, Tabitha Greene, Mitchell McKinnley Greene Jr., and Samantha Greene (Charlotte); great-grandchildren, Evan Mosley, Christian Mosley, Emma Mosley, Makayla Sherrill, Abigail Sherrill, Joseph Bolin, Lana Rose C., Esmeralda, Serenity, and Donald Moore, Jr..

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Roger Green, will be held 1pm, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Cherokee Street Baptist Church – 421 Cherokee St., Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Family and friends will gather at other times at the home of Addie – 706 N. Weldon St., Gastonia, NC 28052.
