A. Roy Curphey, Iii

A. Roy Curphey III, 53, of Blacksburg, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born on October 2, 1968, in West Palm Beach, Fl, Arthur was the son of Arthur Curphey, Jr. and Nada Lufkin Curphey.

Roy III was a proud member of the NRA and a union member of Firestone Textile.

In addition to his parents, left to cherish Roy III's memories are his former wife and best friend, Electa Curphey; daughters, Tori Smitherman (Cameron), Dallas Naylor (Ben), and Brooke-lynn Curphey; sister, Cathe Curphey; and grandchildren, Brantlee Clemmer, Starlyn, Kaysen and Easten Smitherman.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Pete Miller, will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 216 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.
