Thomas (Tom) Raymond Conner

Thomas (Tom) Raymond Conner, 63, of Gastonia, passed away August 24, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on August 21, 1956 in Jackson County, the son of the late Raymond Carl Conner and Dorothy Mc Coy Conner.
Tom worked for John Jenkins for 30 plus years. He always had a joke to tell and loved to make others laugh. He loved his family and was a dedicated friend. He was the type of man that kept his word and would help anyone he could. He will be greatly missed by many, but he leaves us with memories to cherish forever and will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Evans and husband Lou of Florida and Deborah Hoyle of Kings Mountain; nieces, Kathy Brown of Kings Mountain and Krystal Brookover and husband Chris of Florida; nephew, Robert Ferrell of West Virginia; great-nephews, Kenneth Brown and Kyle of Florida; great-niece Kaylan Rice of Belmont; cousin, Mark Conner and wife Patsy of Gastonia; great-great-nephews, Marshall and Matthew; and long-term girlfriend, Barbara Barnette.  All services are private.  Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
