Charles David Hicks

Charles David Hicks, 33, of Gastonia, passed away on January 2, 2021, at his home.

He was born August 25, 1987, in Gaston County, son of Reggie Hicks and Ann Caldwell Byrd.

Charles was a member of Ranlo Baptist Church.

All services will be private.

Charles is survived by his father, Reggie Hicks and wife Bobbie; his mother, Ann Byrd and husband Doug; his children, Isabell Smalt and Marla Hicks; sisters, Heather Curry and husband Mike, Brandi Hicks; paternal grandparents, Rachel, and Rick Ballard; nephews, Tae Williams, Jayden Hicks, Aaron Williams, Brayden Curry; niece, Jordyn Curry.

Charles was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Don and Mary Caldwell; paternal grandfather, Jack Hicks; uncle, Lynn Caldwell.
